Besides manuscripts, the Matenadaran holds a copy of the Urbatagirk, the first published Armenian book and all issues of the first Armenian magazine Azdarar(“Herald”), published in Madras, India. The first map printed in Armenian—in Amsterdam also kept at the Matenadaran.
